NEW LIFE ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
New Life Mission of Haiti has 5 elementary schools which are educating more than 300 children. This is very needed since 70% of the population is illiterate.
In Haiti there are only a few very overcrowded public schools. Therefore, most students must attend private schools which is quite costly and many families can barely afford to send one child to school.
So what happens to these children who cannot afford to go to school? They fall into the cycle of the illiterate and poor.
BUT, if we can change this one fact, EDUCATION, then we can break this cycle of poverty and illiteracy. By educating the children, we can change the future of Haiti.
